The Best KuKirin Electric Scooters Based on Tests and Reviews (2025)

The Best KuKirin Electric Scooters Based on Tests and Reviews (2025)

In our country, we were among the first to start testing and using KuKirin scooters - then still operating under the name Kugoo. Their products appeared on the market about 6 years ago, and we tested most of their models and wrote reviews for them. Their products have undergone an incredible improvement in quality over the past few years, they have turned from real garbage into price/value champions. The KuKirin G2 Max, for example, is a real bestseller, we see it more and more on the roads, but its bigger brothers - such as the KuKirin G4 - are not exactly vehicles to be underestimated. Since we have already written a comprehensive article about electric scooters, in our current content we only cover the brand and their models, as well as the typical defects for which we used the help of a specialized service. If you have any questions or are looking for service, do not hesitate to call. Let's see what experience they have gained in relation to KuKirin/КуКирин electric scooters!

These are the best KuKirin electric scooters (2025)

For our list, we have selected mostly KuKirin electric scooters that we have either tested ourselves - for example, KuKirin G2 Max, KuKirin G2 Pro, KuKirin G4 and many others -, owned or are in our circle of acquaintances and have sufficient experience with them. Or simply because they are interesting in principle. Unusually, we also describe which types we do not recommend, fortunately they are disappearing from the market, but it is good if you know about them. We made our final judgment on the following:

Based on customer feedback
Based on our own experience (as we also use electric scooters every day)
Based on individual studies, based on the opinions of local and international customers
Based on opinions read in various forums and special groups

Best KuKirin electric scooters, based on tests and reviews (2025) 2

KuKirin G2 Max - The most affordable electric scooter

Advantages of KuKirin G2 Max:

excellent suspension
relatively cheap
1000W power
it is not prohibitively expensive
this is the hot yellow-black series

Specification

Crowd: 27 kg (with seat 31 kg)
Performance: 1000 W
Torque: 38 Nm
Engines number: 1 rear
Voltage: 48V
Battery capacity: 20Ah
Maximum speed: approx. 50 km/h
Range: 60-80 kilometers
Cushioning: double
Wheel size: 10 inches
Steering column: adjustable
Brake: double disc

Who do we recommend it to?

In my opinion, the KuKirin G2 Max is the electric scooter champion in the price/value ratio in the KuKirin range. Since the majority of people are over 70 kilograms, the 1000 W cocoa is necessary to maintain the right pace. The KuKirin G2 Max knows this and over a sufficiently long distance. If you kill it, you get a range of 45-50, if not 60 kilograms, so it is ideal for commuting, the soft shock absorption well dampens the bumps in the road and the price of the scooter remains within the limits of tolerance. In principle, we recommend it to everyone who does not live on a mountain, weighs more than 80 kilograms, does not have to make significant differences in level, but wants a sturdy but comfortable scooter.

Why is it sold out?

Most KuKirin electric scooters, including the KuKirin G2 Max, have adjustable handlebar height. In other words, if you’re tall, raise them, if you’re short, push them down to the lowest position. One thing you should be careful of is never messing with the steering column, as this will lead to fatigue quickly. The KuKirin G2 Max comes with all-terrain tires, so it can handle light off-road riding, it has a large tread, and since it scrapes at the back, you can expose your bottom to looser, dirtier roads if you’re good at it. It brings the feel of a BMW to a scooter, except you don’t even need to ride in circles. While I’m not a big fan of sitting in principle, it does come with a seat, so you can also ride rollerblades while sitting, although there are much better solutions for this purpose. One of our favorites is the KuKirin G2 Max electric scooter, which we’d also like to take home.

KuKirin G2 Pro - Kukrin G2 Max, but smaller

Advantages of KuKirin G2 Pro:

excellent suspension
relatively cheap
this is the easiest KuKirin
this is the hot yellow-black series
a miniature copy of KuKirin G2 Max

Specification

Crowd: 23.5 kg (with seat 26.7 kg)
Performance: 600 W
Torque: N/A
Engines number: 1 rear
Voltage: 48V
Battery capacity: 15Ah
Maximum speed: approx. 45 km/h
Range: 55 kilometers
Cushioning: double
Wheel size: 8.5 inches
Steering column: adjustable
Brake: double disc

Who do we recommend it to?

The little brother of the KuKirin G2 Max is the KuKirin G2 Pro, as if they are based on it. Its biggest advantage is its low weight, I'm not saying you'll be a deer running up the stairs with 23.5 kilograms, but it's still on the verge of being bearable to carry it upstairs. The 600 W motor power limits the possibilities, even if it looks very similar to the G2 Max. Due to the small size of the wheel, it's not a problem that you can't beat it. We recommend up to and including 80 kilograms, but even with lighter drivers you feel really in your element. We recommend the KuKirin G70 Pro to anyone who weighs around 2 kilograms and doesn't want to break the bank.

Why is it sold out?

Two things really impressed us when we tested the KuKirin G2 Pro. One of them is that you can get the hot yellow and black Verda for the price of more expensive rollers and how nice its suspension is. It won't shake your dental fillings, the two-wheeler is completely livable. Although it doesn't lift the asphalt with its power, due to the low curb weight it is easy to handle, and 40-45 km/h is quite a lot for the 8.5-inch wheels. The handlebar height is also adjustable and essentially brings the KuKirin G2 Max electric scooter in everything, only in a smaller size.

Advantages of KuKirin G2 Master:

excellent suspension
2×1000 W power
it's still not very difficult
It's also great in the mountains.
KuKirin G2 Max with more powerful hardware

Specification

Crowd33 kg
Performance: 2×1000W
Torque: 2×26 Nm
Engines number: 2 pcs
Voltage: 48V
Battery capacity: 20.8Ah
Maximum speed: approx. 60 km/h
Range: 70 kilometers
Shock absorption: double, oil
Wheel size: 10 inches
Steering column: adjustable
Brake: double disc

Who do we recommend it to?

We're moving up the imaginary electric scooter ladder, but still in the 48V universe. At the top of that is the KuKirin G2 Master, which is like 2 KuKirin G2 Max scooters pushed together. It's the first scooter on our list that can also be used for mountain climbing, as two motors push out 2×1000W from the bottom, which can be used to propel the vehicle. Fortunately, the basic logic is the same: relatively large wheels, excellent shock absorption, fun off-road tires, not too much weight, realistic price. But all this in the mountains, so we highly recommend the KuKirin G2 Master to those who walk a lot between hills, under gardens and don't need a planet-destroying roller monster.

Why is it sold out?

The Kukirin G2 Master has taken a bit of the G3 Pro's cake because it's cheaper, its lights are really great, but the price is often lower than the G3 Pro. It also looks good, has a large footrest and has an adjustable steering wheel. In fact, somewhere around 2000 W is said to move the average rider with dynamics that don't need much more. Well, that's not true, because once you realize what it's like to be dragged by a more powerful, more solidly driven scooter, it's hard to get over the feeling afterwards, but the G2 Master sits on the throne of electric scooters that are not yet capable of suicidal pace and performance. We really like this machine, in fact we recommend it to everyone, just put on street tires and if it has eaten the first set of brakes replace the cable system with hydro, because it's worth it.

Kukrin G3 Pro - When KuKirin G2 Max gets out of control

Advantages of KuKirin G3 Pro:
excellent suspension
52V system
2×1200 W power
It's also great in the mountains.
KuKirin G2 Max or G2 Master with more powerful hardware

Specification

Crowd39.5 kg
Performance: 2×1200W
Torque: 2×30 Nm
Engines number: 2 pcs
Voltage: 52 V
Battery capacity: 23Ah
Maximum speed: approx. 65 km/h
Range: 80 kilometers
Cushioning: double
Wheel size: 10 inches
Steering column: fixed, foldable
Brake: dual hydraulic disc

Who do we recommend it to?

The KuKirin G3 Pro is now in the category that is not joking. Its technical parameters show that it no longer belongs to the urban jogging set, it easily beats the average driver at a red light, in fact, 50 cm3 has also replaced a scooter. No more antics with cable disc brakes here, hydraulics help you stop. Let's just say that I don't understand why you can fold the steering column, no one will lift the almost 40 kilograms, but at least you can lift it into the back of the station wagon. Since it is a twin-motor electric scooter, the KuKirin G3 Pro is a great climber, and the maximum power of 3000 W can move drivers over 100 kilograms well, even uphill, so we mainly recommend the KuKirin G3 Pro model for them.

Why is it sold out?

If we look a little behind the scenes, it is not difficult to notice that, apart from the design, the KuKirin G3 Pro does not share much with the KuKirin G2 Max and G2 Pro models. On the one hand, its operating voltage is higher, since at 52 V fewer amps are needed to do the same job than at 48 V. On the other hand, it is practically an electric bike with a lock switch, brutal lights, extremely wide and long footrests, similar suspension to the KuKirin G2 Max and G2 Pro models, but designed for a much higher pace. A real cruiser that takes its passengers through mountains and valleys. Since the battery is huge, dual charging is now possible, which cuts the 0-100% sprint in half. The battery can also be removed if you need to change it for some reason or if you want to charge it separately.

KuKirin G4 - Wild rear wheel

Advantages of KuKirin G4:

sleeping look
the farting master
2000 W rear wheel
if there was a dragster scooter, this would be it
which means a new series, a new chapter and the tires finally make sense

Specification

Crowd43 kg
Performance: 1×2000W
Torque: 38 Nm
Engines number: 1 rear
Voltage: 60 V
Battery capacity: 20Ah
Maximum speed: approx. 70 km/h
Range: 75 kilometers
Cushioning: double
Wheel size: 11 inches
Steering column: fixed, foldable
Brake: double disc

Who do we recommend it to?

Nothing shows the evolution of KuKirin electric scooters better than the fact that the KuKirin G4 came out later than the KuKirin G2 Max/Pro, G3 Pro and now has subtle changes and revisions. Someone told the manufacturer that 90% of people ride on paved roads, not off-road, so they got a much better tire that doesn't need to be burned, instead of unnecessarily rough and replaced with street tires. I also like this black sleeping bag design and of course I had a little fun with the tights. Based on the principle of "more is better", it is now 60 V and the motor power of 2000 W makes it an excellent "off bench" scooter. There is no influence of the front drive, so this is a highly recommended scooter for those who like to push themselves like a pig, but avoid hills.

Why is it sold out?

The main advantage of the KuKirin G4 is that it pushes a lot. It moves from the back, like a sports car, has a lot of torque, and you can start from the bottom, so it's a really cool electric scooter. Of course, you don't have to walk like an animal with it, then its range won't drop so quickly either. The wheel is a little larger than the KuKirin electric scooters listed so far, and it also has a normal suspension, which is useful in everyday life. I think the setup has two weaknesses: one is that it needs a hydraulic brake. If you're already walking like a pig, stop the same way. The other is my new headset, the display in it is difficult to see in sunlight. However, the team has such a feeling with it that anyone who wants to go will like it.

KuKirin G1 Pro - The successor to the Kukrin G2 Max?

Advantages of KuKirin G1 Pro:

futuristic design
programmable LEDs
energy recovery system
2 × 800 W, so it is also suitable for mountain climbing
reimagined in countless ways

Specification

Crowd37 kg
Performance: 2×800W
Torque: N/A
Engines number: 2 pcs
Voltage: 48V
Battery capacity: 20.8Ah
Maximum speed: approx. 55 km/h
Range: 70 kilometers
Cushioning: double
Wheel size: 10 inches
Steering column: fixed, foldable
Brake: dual disc+KERS

Who do we recommend it to?

This is a brand new KuKirin model, so when I saw the KuKirin G1 Pro electric scooter, I thought of the boy band New Kids on the Block. This could be the missing link in the KuKirin G2 series, and where will it be filmed? If I had to guess one, it would be the KuKirin G2 Max by one, although many of you have probably already figured out that the number after the G gives some idea of the size of the scooter. In other words, this should basically be a smaller model, because it has a singular number in its name. In comparison, the KuKirin G2 Max is heavier, but also more robust, and has a rather strange, cyberpunk design, which is also enhanced by the programmable LEDs. It also has two motors, so it will be good for steep and hilly terrain, so we recommend it to those who like the look and live in the mountains.

Why is it sold out?

Although we don't have any experience with it yet - but we're already working on it - this outfit is quite forward-thinking and bold. We always enjoy additional lights, and in the case of the KuKirin G1 Pro there are 13 of them. Since you need to not only see, but also be seen, this electric scooter becomes a rolling Christmas tree in the dark. Based on the previous models, this one may also have good suspension, but for some reason they returned to this off-road line, the tires on this one are also uneven. In any case, we're curious to see what the KuKirin G1 Pro will produce based on real tests, especially in terms of range, since it already received an energy absorption system - KERS -, unlike the free-running models so far

KuKirin G4 Max - Top of the Top!!!

Advantages of KuKirin G4 Max:

the boss's car
2×1600 W power
Works with a 60 volt system
brutal range and top speed
With its 12-inch wheels, it's practically an electric bike

Specification

Crowd64 kg
Performance: 2×1600W
Torque: N/A
Engines number: 2 pcs
Voltage: 60 V
Battery capacity: 35.2Ah
Maximum speed: approx. 85 km/h
Range: 95 kilometers
Cushioning: double
Wheel size: 12 inches
Steering column: fixed, foldable
Brake: dual hydraulic disc

Who do we recommend it to?

KuKirin G4 Max is already the level at which we imagine the electric bike. Extreme parameters in every respect and corresponding weight and load capacity. It can carry 150 kilograms if necessary, which we can believe from 3200 W, which is not even its peak, but its nominal power. It has a huge battery, they say it travels 95 kilometers at an average speed, does that mean anything in this case, because in the end it can be 85 km/h, which is a terrible amount. We recommend it to those who want to travel long distances at a fast pace and have experience with such powerful machines. This is the size class where rough motorcycle protective clothing is the minimum.

Why is it sold out?

The KuKirin G4 Max is not a gaming bike. Solid hardware all around, front hydraulic shock absorbers ride in the fork, and braking is provided by 4-piston hydraulic brakes. The wheel is also larger than usual, 12 inches, and it also has off-road tires, so it's a real all-rounder. I looked at what kind of charging connector it has, they say it can handle the 10 At you'll need to charge such a large battery. Luckily, it's removable, because the 64-kilogram body doesn't move as easily as its smaller siblings. This is essentially a more powerful off-road version of the KuKirin G4. As a new model, we have no idea what to expect from it, but it's sure to make a big statement in some way.

What you need to know about KuKirin electric scooters?

The life of the brand can be seen in a rather interesting development curve. They were founded as Kugoo in 2015 and released their electric scooters under the same name, which were essentially copies of the E-Twow. There was not much originality in what they were doing, but you could get their devices damn cheap, a kind of market for disposable electric scooters developed. Such models were the Kugoo S1 and S1 Pro, which were not large, but 5 of them were in service for 2 years in the editorial family members.

Then their first series of more powerful electric scooters already included quite good models - Kugoo G-Booster, Kugoo G2 Pro, which can also be purchased under the name Ienyrid - but despite this, their low-end machines seriously damaged the brand's reputation. Since 2018, they have been selling their products under the name Kugoo Kirin, and some really promising models, such as the M2 Pro, were also hit here. Then, somewhere in late 2022, the two names were merged, which became KuKirin, and in 2023 they already started the model year by releasing a bunch of completely new electric scooters, which were already of good quality and cheap enough, overwhelming the market with real champions in the price/value ratio. Such was the case with the KuKirin G2 Max or the newer KuKirin G4, but practically the entire G series is full of excellent two-wheelers. In addition, the design somehow managed to catch on, especially cool and unique electric scooters with a black and yellow appearance began to flood the market.

Our personal experience shows that the quality has improved a lot, and the parts have also been standardized. The previous Kugoo G3, created under crowdfunding, was a real hospital bed in 2022, but later several revisions were made to it and the two-wheeled vehicle, called KuKirin G3, is now a decent machine, on which the company specifically corrected many errors. This brings us to the present, as new models will arrive in the second quarter of the year that will replace or complement the previous series. KuKirin has finally started working and is selling affordable, albeit not high-quality, electric scooters at a price that can be understood even compared to Hungarian wallets.

Of course, you don't have to jump on a pink cloud right away, let's see what spelling mistakes we know and which models we don't recommend.

Kukrin electric scooters that we do not recommend

We've previously praised models like the KuKirin G2 Max or the KuKirin G4 scooter as carbon, but we also have to list the ones you should avoid. Here, we should think primarily of older two-wheelers, from the time when they were mostly copies or shamelessly copied by Western European and American manufacturers.

In my opinion, KuKirin is mostly weak in the stick scooter market. On the one hand, because the Xiaomi Mi electric scooters have beaten everyone to pieces in the last few years. On the other hand, since Ninebot bought Segway, so many good machines have been released on the market that only the very big names in this segment - like Vsett - can kick the ball, but they are also expensive and this is already the hunting ground of the larger KuKirin electric scooters. The same goes for premium and very expensive luxury models, Kaabo costs one and a half to two times more than KuKirin with similar capabilities, and in the electric scooter segment at the level of Nami or Dualtron there are no KuKirin models. The company knows where it belongs and fortunately does not even bother with anything other than what it really understands.

Let's see which models you should avoid!

Kugoo S1/S1 Pro/ES2/Kugoo Kirin S1/KugooKirin S1 Pro

KuKirin had an era of copying the E-Twow electric scooters. Around 2020 you can get monsters with a range of 15 km and a top speed of 25-30 km/h, which doesn't even come close to the quality of the E-Twow. The typos were as follows:

weak brake
slippery solid rubber in most cases
electrical faults
breakaway closure mechanism (S1, S1 Pro)
broken display
sharp "throttle"
at first a few parts
rattling frame

As you can see, there was a problem with almost everything, besides these scooters could accelerate to 30-35 km/h on a slope. From here, stop with a foot brake and engine brake. They still sell such a variant called KuKirin S3 Pro, which we have not tested yet, but it looks a lot like the previous models. They are all forgettable, do not buy them.

Kugoo Kirin S4

The Kugoo Kirin S4 follows a similar path as the Kugoo S1, their successors, only received a redesigned frame, but did not show significant improvements. The worst thing is that 1 year has passed since the first Kugoo S3 and this electric scooter still suffers from the same bugs as the old models. I don’t think I will surprise anyone with what I wrote in the bug list:

the braking distance is extremely long
a computer that gives false data and goes crazy
poor workmanship
rattling frame
weak range

You could still wear them, but they were much more expensive than the previous models, lucky they're gone now.

KuKirin G3

The KuKirin G3 is the electric scooter you can (or can't) buy now, but it has such a terrible reputation that no one buys it anymore. It was the first model of the new era of KuKirin, and the money was raised on the crowdfunding site Indiegogo. It turned out to be a huge flop, the Kukrin G3 was still a real workhorse at the time, full of all sorts of non-working innovations. Then a year later, the Kugoo Kirin G3 came out, which was another, revised version of that scooter, they removed issues like the lights under the stand, but it still wasn't the real thing. Then in 2023, the KuKirin G3 came out, which is a completely affordable electric scooter with a reputation like the old Dacias. There is one big drawback, the particular rigid chassis, otherwise it would have been a decent machine. Unfortunately, the KuKirin G2 Max is an even better vehicle for less, and there is also the more powerful KuKirin G2 Master or rear-wheel übermensch, the KuKirin G4. End of story, KuKirin G3 has completely disappeared from the market. As an interesting point, I list the defects of the machines from the first series of 2022, you SHOULD NEVER buy them.

9 out of 10 the controller is burnt out
instead of 1000 W approx. Its performance felt like 500
the light under the stage got wet and cut out the electronics (on the new ones this was "walled in", the light is no longer there)
concrete hard cushioning, and the rubber bushing in it also broke
sometimes the display lit up, sometimes it didn't
the glue on the rubber cover on the foot peeled off (it hung even after zero kilometers)
there were no parts for it at first

So, even if you find an older version, you should still buy a KuKirin G2 Max, KuKirin G2 Master, or KuKirin G4 electric scooter instead.

How to choose a KuKirin electric scooter?

The question comes up all the time and people usually struggle a lot with which KuKirin electric scooter model to choose. There are those who write multi-page letters, those who create Excel spreadsheets, those who change models, everyone wants to understand things differently. If you are still at the beginning of the process, we will give you some good guidelines on how to choose and how not to choose among the KuKirin electric scooter models.

A house or apartment with a garden?

One of the most important questions that many people do not take into account. It really does not matter whether the 40-kilogram monster has to be pushed from one garage or dragged from the third, as well as whether it stands in the middle of the living room or in the yard. If you live in a studio apartment and do not have a common room, storage room or basement, then you should not buy an electric scooter that weighs more than 25 kilograms. The limit is the KuKirin G2 Max and its smaller brother KuKirin G2 Pro.

Should I take the KuKirin electric scooter down the stairs or upstairs?

An average man, 175 cm tall and weighing 75 kg, can move a third of his body weight relatively dynamically when he has to lift something. That means 25 kg, but since the scooter is not a dumbbell, but all sorts of things stick out, it is not so easy to turn around with it on a staircase. It does not matter whether the machine fits in the elevator or not - if there is one at all - that is, the smaller electric scooters will be suitable here. Models that can be considered are the KuKirin G2 Max and its smaller brother KuKirin G2 Pro.

Flatland or hilly terrain?

On flat terrain, the point is that an electric scooter needs to be able to maintain a relatively high, steady pace for a longer period of time. In this case, any KuKirin model with a rear wheel will do, the KuKirin G2 Pro, KuKirin G2 Max, KuKirin G4 from the list above are also good, but also the KuKirin M5 Pro - test here - if you want to go off-road.

On hilly terrain, God forbid, on a mountain, the components are subjected to much greater stress, cables and connectors can heat up. Here, choose a scooter with two motors, that is, the KuKirin G1 Pro, KuKirin G2 Master, KuKirin G3 Pro and KuKirin G4 Max can be considered.

Did you want to go hiking with him or just travel?

A tour can mean many things, a walk around the Venice lake or a rough terrain. Whatever your destination, range will be of paramount importance. Look for a scooter that operates at a high operating voltage and is equipped with a battery with the highest possible capacity. Possible models are for example the KuKirin G4, but also the G3 Pro, in single-motor mode.

How many of you will use the electric scooter?

This is a rare choice, but it is possible, for example, in the case of a couple of a man and a woman using the same KuKirin electric scooter. In this case, extremes should be avoided - very heavy/strong or very light/weak models. The average KuKirin machines are not bad, the KuKirin G1 Pro, KuKirin G2 Max and KuKirin G2 Master can be a good choice and with them you can "stand further".

How many kilograms do you weigh?

When how much, they said. The heavier you are, the worse the electric scooters will perform. For example, 2 W on the KuKirin G600 Pro can decently move a 70-kilogram driver, but not a 100-kilogram driver, so 2 W on the KuKirin G1000 Max are needed. The same on the mountain is already 1600-2000 W, in the all-wheel drive version. Possible models are the KuKirin G1 Pro and KuKirin G2 Master, but the G3 Pro also plays.

And most importantly: how much money do you have for KuKirin models?

The prices of electric scooters can change very quickly. There are countless things that influence it, price in euros, discounts, whether a model has been discontinued, etc. It is obvious that the more powerful the electric scooter is and the newer it is, the more they will ask for it. If you do not have at least 500-600 euros - at least at the time of writing this article - then you should not think about such a large scooter.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best KuKirin electric scooter?

It is difficult to answer this question, because it is necessary to know the spirit of the Hungarian people in order to answer the question. Perhaps it is easiest to approach it from a point of view that is definitely not. Let's not make it pretty, there are not many decent KuKirin electric scooters among stick scooters and they have not competed in the premium category either, but the KuKirin G4 Max can show something now. Since RendeljKínait has extensive traffic and consumption data, we can say with certainty that the price/value ratio is the decisive factor in our country.

Based on these, the KuKirin G2 Max with rear wheels is the best KuKirin electric scooter, because its price is often below the household psychological limit, and 1000 W already impresses even a larger driver with sufficient dynamics. Stepping back, the favorite of smaller drivers is the KuKirin G2 Pro and its bigger brother, the KuKirin G4, with 2000 W and a stronger frame.

Both are not good for mountain dwellers, however, the dual-motor solution is the best. There is not much experience with the all-new KuKirin G1 Pro, but the 2×800 W machine is promising, and the more rugged version of that is the KuKirin G2 Master, which is essentially the KuKirin G2 Max, only with 2×1000 W. This is enough even for people over 100 kilograms who are hiking in the mountains.

Why is the KuKirin G2 Max the real sweet spot?

One of the big advantages of the KuKirin G2 Max is that it is cheap and its ride characteristics are about the same as a 50cc scooter. It covers almost 50 kilometers on a single charge, its top speed is just under 50 and it has normal shock absorption. The importance of the latter cannot be overstated due to Hungarian roads, plus electricity is much cheaper than fuel, so it is also cheaper to operate.

Which KuKirin scooter should we buy?

We can give you a very similar answer to the question "Which is the best KuKirin electric scooter?" to the question: it depends on who you ask in the editorial office. Some live in Pest, others live in Buda among the hills, others live in the countryside and there the rhythm of movement and distances are completely different from those in the capital. In addition to these, our mass, our gender, we are in a different life situation, some live in a house with a garden, others live in an apartment. However, we would accept all the well-known and recommended KuKirin electric scooters.

What KuKirin electric scooter should you buy if you live in the mountains?

Definitely one with two motors, i.e. KuKirin G1 Pro, Kukirin G2 Master or KuKirin G3 Pro. Prolonged upward load on electric scooters with a single motor can damage the controller, and the cables and connectors can overheat or melt.

Which KuKirin electric scooter should I buy for my child?

Mostly nothing, the company is not strong in scooters. Fortunately, there is one our comprehensive article on electric scooters, in which we also mention countless small and lightweight electric scooters.

How good is the supply of parts for KuKirin electric scooters?

The service of RollBase is quite good based on his experience, but if there are no parts for something, you can find spare parts on the market. Since there are so many of them, these electric scooters can no longer be called very rare or special, some of their parts - e.g. braking system, tires, etc. - and anyway, it is worth replacing them with better ones when they wear out.

Which KuKirin electric scooter do you recommend for off-roading?

The KuKirin M5 Pro is a very sturdy monster with thick telescopes, but in fact any KuKirin dual-motor electric scooter is suitable for off-road use, equipped with knobby tires.

What types of defects can I expect if I purchase a KuKirin electric scooter?

A typical disease of non-premium electric scooters – and premium ones too, just think of the Kaabo Mantis – is the problem with the brakes. The problem is not that they wouldn't last, but rather the disc gets hit, which leads to asymmetrical wear of the pad, even the sound of it is annoying.

The other is wear and tear on consumables. In addition to the brake, tires and bearings can wear out with use, but they can almost always be replaced. There are quite a few people who don't skid properly, who spin with the steering column, they may have problems with the locking mechanism - or where most of the power is generated - or with the steering stem and the screws can come loose due to resonance, which sometimes needs to be retightened.

Of course, all electric scooters, including some KuKirin models, can have unique quirks, you can find them in our related tests.

What should you replace the factory off-road tires with if you use them in the city?

Experience shows that many models come with relatively uneven off-road tires, which are not ideal for the city. On the one hand, they are unnecessarily noisy, and on the other hand, they do not grip well enough, so it is more difficult for electric scooters to transfer their power to the asphalt and the braking effect also deteriorates. In the city, however, you can collect all sorts of unwanted objects from the asphalt, be it nails, spikes, pieces of glass and the list goes on. In other words, to avoid a puncture, it is worth choosing a well-adhering street tire with a layer of "self-healing" gel. This is sold by the TUOVT brand, but of course other manufacturers also have similar products.

The PMT brand is considered the Holy Grail of tires, they are premium tires with very good traction. It is worth asking the RollBase service what sizes they have and if they fit the KuKirin electric scooters.

Can KuKirin electric scooters be customized and if so, how?

2 things tend to get tired on KuKirin electric scooters:

the tire
and the brake

We've already written about the former, and in relation to the latter, it often happens that when it's not hydraulic, it's worth replacing it, and if the mounting points are good, then you can usually put a larger disc in place of the old one. That's why the options with larger 10-inch wheels are better, because you can replace a typical 160mm disc with a larger one, then add a Zoom or Magura kit, the exact type is limited only by your wallet.

Users tend to overestimate the range of KuKirin electric scooters - it's no surprise that no one reaches 25 km/h with them - in this case, the additional battery that can be mounted on the handlebars can be useful. Here, weight and wallet set the limit to how much capacity you can expand the factory AC.
